Factors and Procedures Used in Admissions

Full-time program
We consider applicant’s GPA and GMAT scores, undergraduate school, and major. We also look at goals, work history, motivation, experience, activities, and character; and how these are communicated to us in essays and interviews. We encourage applicants to visit Olin, interview with the admissions team, sit in on a class, tour the campus, explore St. Louis, and meet current Olin students.
Executive program
Quantitative skills are accessed via a 1-1 recruiting process where building a personal relationship is paramount. Through building the relationship and therefore getting a deep understanding of background and aptitude, coupled with information from transcripts, employment history/experience and intense hour-long interview, an assessment is shared.
