“We’ve assigned where this abandoned bike goes before and gets a new use for it. We do a reworking of it and, therefore, we promote an integration campaign that benefits athletes of the future-said Gabriela Mendes, idealizer of Tribus Project.

In addition to bicycles, are collected by the initiative, helmets, backpacks and other cycling equipment. For many of these public school children, this is their only contact with the sport.

– It’s a great opportunity. We live in the community and there they get anxious at home and leave the school now full of gas to come here. They have so much fun that they come home and have nothing to worry about, “said Luana Navegas, the mother of a student in the project.

Eight-year-old Enzo Lucchesi demonstrated his solidarity with participating in the campaign and donating the used bike. Excited, he even gave tips to new colleagues:

– You have to be very careful not to fall and must wear the helmet to avoid injury. You have to be careful,”said the young, conscientious cyclist.
