Apple to announce new iPhone today

Fourth generation device must be revealed at the Conference tonight.

Apple is expected to announce its fourth-generation iPhone at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) later in the day. The company’s ceo, Steve Jobs, will unveil the device at about 18:00, when he also will give more details about iPhone 4.0 US phone will run.

 

The new iPhone OS 4.0 software brings multi-tasking to the iPhone for the first time. It is also equipped with iAD, Apple’s mobile advertising platform.

The new iPhone is expected to have a square appearance, with new features, including an improved camera, better battery life, more storage space and a higher resolution screen.

The WWDC event is for engineers from all over the world who write software and applications for Apple products.
