Android 5.0 Lollipop comes with a new design, and HTC’s interface is included in a new version.
Right now is the newest interface from HTC Sense 6.0, but with the dawning of Android’s new Material Design comes a new version. Not surprisingly, it will come to be called Sense 7.0.
HTC is in progress with the development of the Sense 7.0, and a couple of screenshots that have sprung up from a version that is built over Android Lollipops Developer Preview, running on an HTC One M (8). So it is still under construction, and therefore there may be changes.
Sense 7.0 will come to resemble the earlier version, but the background to the software buttons will, for example, get a color that matches the app that lies behind it.
Right now there are only 2 screenshots of the Sense 7.0, but I wonder if that will show more up, as we get closer to a final version. HTC can really go to work on 3. November, when Google publishes the final version of the Android 5.0 Lollipop.
