Like the Exynos 5420, the new 5422 arrives in big configuration. LITTLE with the ability to operate their eight cores simultaneously with HMP -Heterogeneous Multi Processing. The A7 will arrive in 1. 5 GHz, and will be used for simpler tasks, while the A15 are used for tasks of high performance .

The renovated 5 Octa brings support for displays up to 2560 x 1600 pixels (WQVGA), allowing the 4K video recording. It is manufactured in 28 nanometer process, Samsung compared with the 32 nm as a reduction in the consumption of 10% and improved performance.

With regard to the Exynos 5 Hexa (5260), Samsung reduces the pack to a Dual Core in high-performance, quad-core Cortex-A15. The latter will operate at a maximum of 1.3 GHz, while the two Cortex-A15 will make 1.7 GHz.
