Falkland Islands: Political System
According to topschoolsintheusa, the Falkland Islands are a British overseas territory, whose head of state is therefore the Queen or King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. It is represented by a governor.
In addition to Falkland, the Government of the Falkland Islands administers the other dependent territories of Great Britain in the Atlantic Ocean region: South Georgia, the South Sandwich Islands, and the rocky islands of Shag Rocks and Clerke Rocks, all between 1,100 km to 3,200 km east and southeast of the Falkland Islands.

The Falkland Islands National Anthem is the UK’s national anthem.
Based on flag descriptions by Countryaah.com, the national anthem of Great Britain premiered as a patriotic song in London in 1745. Origin of the text and the melody are unknown or controversial. What is certain is that the melody is older than the text and later formed the national anthems of various countries in the 19th century. In Germany, for example, the corresponding text was: “Heil Dir im Siegerkranz”.
