The first foreign reviews of Google’s top models, Pixel and the Pixel XL, is out. Our site gives you an overview of notifiers’ code dom here.
Two weeks ago lifted Google blurred the company’s big bet this year-the two smartphones called Pixel and the Pixel, which is developed and designed by Google itself for the first time.
Thus embarks on Google a whole new chapter, where the company now makes itself as producer on an equal footing with, for example, Apple. The difference is just that Google will get HTC to produce its phones, while Apple gets Foxconn to it.
Yesterday gave Google the green light to foreign media releasing reviews loose of the two top models. Has Google’s new strategy so paid off? You can get an overview of below, where Our site have gathered reviews together by both Pixels and Pixel XL together from The Verge, Engadget, CNET, Stuff.tv, TechRadar, Techno Buffalo and Android Central.
The Verge: This is Google’s first phone, and as the first phone is incredibly good. On almost every parameter I can think of – speed, performance, camera Assistant, everything possible – matches the or surpasses the best phones on the market today. And although the design is far from groundbreaking, it certainly bring.
- Long battery life
- Fast and powerful
- Not waterproof
- Uninspired design
- Google’s bid for Android need more fine-tuning
9 out of 10

Engadget: Google has made a really good smartphone, which unfortunately looks a bit dull out. The inclusion of a new Snap dragon 821-processor and a great camera but the smaller Pixels to a device, which should be taken into account. If it was just a little cheaper.
CNET: If you are careful in the face of Samsung or look for a worthy alternative to the iPhone, the Android is Google Pixel-top model, you should acquire.
- Google Pixel has a great camera, especially at low lighting
- The elegantly designed
- Google-Assistant has one of the most natural, human approach to respond to your voice
- The phone screen is weak in outdoor sunlight
- The camera’s lens blur’-function is sloppy
- It is resistant to splashing instead of waterproof
- It is expensive compared to previous Google Nexus devices
- Design: 9 out of 10
- Features: 8 out of 10
- Performance: 9 out of 10
- Camera: 9 out of 10
- Battery: 8 out of 10
- Overall rating: 8.8 out of 10

TechRadar: Google Pixel is an excellent top model that only fails with a mediocre battery life and Assistant, who is still under development. If you can find yourself in price rented, are Pixel a fresh breath in a world of Android-overkomplicering.
- Sovereign smooth performance
- Clear, colorful full HD display
- Comfortable single-handed
- Battery life could be better
- The Assistant has yet to implement its potential into reality
4.5 out of 5

Techno Buffalo: I have too many questions around the focal point of Google Pixel and not enough confidence in its future. It is a fine phone, certainly, but there are plenty of units that offer similar performance and, in some cases, more features for the same price or lower.
- Reasonable battery life
- Good camera
- The first phone with the new Android software
- Uninspired design
- Not water resistant
- No wireless charging
- No expandable storage space
Techno Buffalo gives no ratings.

- No water resistance
- High price for SIM-free version
- Google-Assistant teacher still
- Glass rear tend to scratch
