The fishing is an activity purely male that is practiced both in freshwater and the sea: based on location and the fish fauna, in practice different techniques, which involve the use of specific equipment and the carrying out of specific procedures for catching prey.
Among the various categories of fishing, there is one sport; a fairly common technique for this specific way of fishing is the surf casting.
Let’s see briefly what it is.
Sport fishing is carried out with the purpose to leave live prey.
In particular the surf casting involves the use of a sturdy cane, that you have to launch from the beach to the water basin when they appear.
For surf casting a particular frame should be built.
It is created by the Campingship of that reel, Terminal kits, weights, floats and other small parts needed to go fishing.
In this short and informative guide will explain how to do to better organize your surf casting frame.
Choose between fixed and sliding frame
The first dilemma that we must attack when you build a frame surf casting is “fixed or sliding?”.
A fixed frame is ideal for catching fish that usually perform smallest movement, after they conquered the food which they feed.
With this type of equipment, the food stops on the bottom.
The fish approaching first with distrust, then proceeds with swallowing (after testing the safety of food and having accomplished a small shift with the food in the mouth).
A sliding frame provides that the nylon slips a two-hole lead, so as to avoid entanglement and encourage the movement of the Terminal (including current).
During this phase, I advise you to opt for a fabrication of the first kind, as sliding equipment creates quite often problematic, since the fish don’t always moves in the direction of the line when you swallow the bait.
Assess the condition of the sea to choose the best lead
The scope of the lead which must compose your frame should not be determined by reference to the amount of wind, but according to the conditions under which lies the sea.
When blowing weak (as, for example, the South wind), the sea swells and does not allow a slight lead on average to oppose the correct resistance to water flow.
In case of strong wind, not always it is very choppy; therefore a lead too heavy would be a poor choice.
An additional evaluation criteria to select the best lead is the distance.
If you want to throw the fishing Rod far enough, you will need to choose a lead of at least “125 grams”.
Select the beam according to the lead used
The beam in terms of fishing is a fine line that must be attached to various terminal types that have a lower diameter wire.
To properly build a frame surf casting, you must click the bulkiness of the beam depending on the weight of the lead, since the latter must runs freely without hindrance.
For a lead from 130 g/m2, the thickness of the beam should be 0.45 mm.
These two values are therefore directly proportional.
After establishing proper matching between lead and Rafter, simply pull the second through the first. We have completed the first part of the frame.
Determine the diameter and length of the Terminal
Here we come to the stage that precedes the entire frames built for fishing surf casting mode.
The last item to fix is the Terminal, namely that part which goes to make up the fishing line to a fishing rod.
In this case, the choice of Terminal depends greatly on the situation where the sea.
With a swell virtually absent, you can use a longer Terminal and the base diameter: Conversely, rough sea, the length should be less than the thickness will increase.
Assemble the frame
We now come to the Assembly to make entire frames.
After selecting a rod from 3.8 to 5 meters long, and rolled up the nylon to a rotating reel to reel (I recommend it because more practical than a fixed spool), you need to join the beam to the mainline.
To do this you will have to drill a hole on the opposite side.
Now you need to enter a joint — a combination of stopper, beads and bolting to install on the beam.
To mount this part, simply insert the nylon in the insolothurn of the stopper.
Also you have to let it run the ball joint on the beam.
As regards the Union of the Terminal to the beam, you must create a connection to the mainline. This operation is done using a swivel (a small closable metal hook).
Finally it is necessary to add the hook. His greatness you have to decide depending on the size of fish to catch.
He used one with loop, simply go through the wire.
Create at least 3 knots tight, then you can apply the most suitable bait.
At this point the frame is ready for use: good catch!
