By | August 6, 2021

Public holidays, in general, are important dates for a country, and in many cases are days without work for public and private sector workers. In most countries, these holidays have fixed dates, but some of them are mobile, depending on some factors such as the moon cycle or day in the week. In this selection are highlighted the 10 countries with the most public holidays in the world. This may all seem like a mess of terms as there is no universal rule of thumb to say how holidays should be managed. In Brazil, for example, we have 12 national holidays, but some states have their own municipal holidays. For this reason, we have tried to make a selection of holidays for countries that have more public holidays, only those government-mandated public holidays. Among them will surely be some of the most celebrated holidays in the world as well. The search for countries with more public holidays was based on the points raised by the World Atlas site , Human Resources, Gulf Business, Jakub Marian and Telegraph . Even though they all mention the same countries more or less, the numbers differed, so we checked all the countries mentioned individually to see what the actual numbers should be. If government information on public holidays was not accessible, the primary resource for the survey was Office Holidays . Source: equzhou.net
