From November 12, 2020, the Thai Consulate in Warsaw began accepting documents for tourist visas of the TR and STV categories for Ukrainian citizens and foreigners with a residence permit in Ukraine! Our company provides visa support in obtaining a visa to Thailand at the Consulate of the Kingdom of Thailand in Poland (obtaining a visa to Thailand at the Consulate of Thailand in Ukraine is currently impossible!).

According to A2zgov, Ukraine was included in the official list of countries from which you can fly into Thailand without going through mandatory strict quarantine ! A prerequisite for such entry is the presence of a certificate of vaccination, made no later than 14 days before departure to Thailand!

Documents for issuing a tourist visa to Thailand TR (filing at the Thai consulate in Warsaw):

  • Personal data
  • Passport with at least 2 blank pages and valid for at least 6 months from the date of planned entry into Thailand.
  • One passport size photo (4×6 cm)
  • Copy of residence permit in Ukraine, if you are not a citizen of Ukraine
  • Bank statement (IN ENGLISH) + Account statement for 3 months (at least 34 USD / person / day or 68 USD / family / day in the form of a breakdown for three months with balances at the end of each month (in English) – sample extracts, see below.The certificate must be with a wet seal)

The term for consideration of an application for a visa to Thailand (category TR) is from 2 working days (excluding the time for preparing documents for submitting and sending documents to Warsaw and back)

TR Visa is valid for 3 months from the date of issue. Travelers must enter Thailand within the specified three-month period. They will be allowed to stay in Thailand for up to 60 days from the date of entry. Extensions are possible for an additional 30 days, with a maximum stay of 90 days from the date of entry.

Documents for obtaining a long-term tourist visa to Thailand STV (submission at the Thai Consulate in Warsaw):

  • Personal data
  • Passport with at least 2 blank pages and valid for at least 6 months from the date of planned entry into Thailand.
  • One passport size photo (3.5×4.5 or 4×6 cm)
  • Copy of residence permit in Ukraine, if you are not a citizen of Ukraine
  • Original medical certificate from a licensed physician ( You can download the reference form here) The certificate must not be issued more than 3 months before submission.
  • Original certificate of no criminal record from the country of permanent residence + translation into English. The certificate must not be issued later than 3 months before submission.
  • Medical insurance with coverage of at least $50,000 and a COVID treatment option
  • Confirmed hotel or accommodation booking during your planned stay in Thailand.
    Important! Proof of residence must be at least half the validity of the Thailand Long-Term Tourist Visa (STV Visa). If a condominium owned by you or your friends is booked for the duration of your stay in Thailand, you must provide proof of ownership.

Obtaining a ThaiPass certificate to enter Thailand based on a previously obtained visa to Thailand:

To obtain a THAIPASS certificate to enter Thailand, you must provide:
– A copy of your passport
– A copy of a valid visa
– A health insurance policy that directly covers treatment and medical expenses in connection with COVID-19, with a minimum coverage of 50,000 USD
– Air travel confirmation ( Important!! ! The certificate is issued for a specific flight and hotel for quarantine.If the applicant changes flight or hotel for quarantine after receiving an entry permit, a new one is required).
– Confirmation of hotel booking under SANDBOX quarantine, Alternate State Quarantine (ASQ) or AHQ/OQ confirmation for quarantine. List of hotels approved for quarantine by the Kingdom of Thailand – download here ( Important!!! Make sure that the hotel is booked starting from the date of arrival in Thailand.

72 hours before departure to Thailand, it is necessary to obtain the following documents:

  • Medical certificate stating that COVID-19 was not detected by PCR.

Work visa to Thailand (Non-Immigrant Visa B) (submission at the Thai Consulate in Warsaw).

Required documents for those wishing to work in Thailand:

1. Passport or travel document valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival in Thailand.
2. Application for a visa to Thailand.
3. 1 passport size photograph of the applicant, 4 x 6, taken within the last six months.
4. Employment contract between the applicant and a company entitled to employ foreigners in Thailand, indicating the reasons for hiring the applicant, as well as his salary, position and qualifications (the contract must be signed by an authorized managing director and stamped by the company)
5. A copy of the letter from the company addressed to the Royal Thai Embassy in Warsaw with a request for a visa, indicating the name, position, period of work, salary, education and work experience of the applicant.

7. A copy of the work permit issued by the Ministry of Labor, the Board of Investment of Thailand or the Ministry of Labor
8. Corporate documents of the Thai company, namely:
1) business registration certificate and license (Important! Thailand must be certified by the registrar within 6 months
2) list of shareholders
3) company profile
4) details of business operation
5) list of foreign employees with names, nationalities and positions
6) map showing the location of the company
7) balance sheet, income tax and income tax report (Por Ngor Dor 50 and Por Ngor Dor 30 for the last year
8) value added tax registration (Por Por 20).

Required documents for those wishing to work in a private educational institution in Thailand:

  1. Passport or travel document valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival in Thailand.
    2. Application for a visa to Thailand.
    3. 1 passport size photograph of the applicant, 4 x 6, taken within the last six months.
    4. An employment contract between the applicant and a private educational institution indicating the position, salary and period of employment.
    5. A copy of the letter from the company to the Royal Thai Embassy in Warsaw requesting a visa, indicating the name, position, period of work, salary, education and work experience of the applicant.
    6. A copy of the license to open an educational institution issued by the Commission for Private Education or the competent state authority.
    7. A copy of a work permit issued by the Ministry of Labor, the Board of Investment of Thailand or the Ministry of Labor
    8. A former employer’s recommendation about the applicant’s teaching experience in Ukraine or other countries 9.
    Copies of documents confirming the applicant’s education (diploma confirming teacher education)
    non-conviction.

Student visa to Thailand (submission at the Thai consulate in Warsaw).

Applicants who want to study in Thailand:

Required documents for non-immigrant category “ED” (training):

  1. Passport or travel document valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival in Thailand.
    2. Application for a visa to Thailand.
    3. 1 passport size photograph of the applicant, 3.5 x 4.5, taken within the last six months.
    4. Copy of 2-way ticket (to/from Thailand).
    5. Copy of hotel/accommodation booking in Thailand.
    6. Letter of acceptance from a school / university in Thailand (in Thai or English), a copy of the identity card of the signatory of this letter. In case the signatory is a foreigner, a copy of their Thai work permit must also be submitted.
    7. Copy of school/university registration.
    8. Certificate of no criminal record, issued no later than three months before the date of application for a visa.
    9. In the case of students at levels below the university level, a letter of approval from Thai government agencies such as the Ministry of Education, Private Education Commission Office, Basic Education Commission Office must be submitted. (Students of international/private schools below the university level should send a copy of this letter in advance to check if this letter of approval will be confirmed by the Thai consulate… This does not apply to students of state/public and international/private universities).
    10. Proof of solvency to study in Thailand.

The Consulate reserves the right to request additional documents or an interview with the applicant, if deemed necessary, without prior notice. The Royal Thai Embassy reserves the right to reject any visa application with insufficient documentation or if the reasons have not been fully substantiated.

All documents in foreign languages ​​must be officially translated into Thai or English.

Required documents for non-immigrant category “ED” (internship):

  1. Passport or travel document with a validity period of at least 6 months from the date of arrival in Thailand. /
    2. Questionnaire for a visa to Thailand.
    3. 1 passport size photograph of the applicant, 3.5 x 4.5, taken within the last six months.
    4. Copy of 2-way ticket (to/from Thailand).
    5. Copy of hotel/accommodation booking in Thailand.
    6. Letter of application for a visa in any form from the employer / school / university (if the employee is sent to Thailand by his current employer / school / university).
    7. A letter of invitation from Thailand confirming the purpose of the trip to Thailand and details of the applicants, a copy of the identity card of the signatory of this letter or passport. In case the signatory is a foreigner, a copy of his work permit must also be submitted.
    8. Copy of employer / school / university registration.
    9. Corporate documents of a Thai company, namely:
    1) business registration certificate and license

In case of opening a visa at the Taland consulate in Poland, the following are additionally paid:
1. Consular fee:
For a student, work or internship visa in Thailand – 360 złoty per person (about 98 USD).
For a tourist visa to Thailand with a single entry – 180 zlotys per person (about 49 USD).
2. Delivery of documents to / from Poland – about 100 USD / 1 passport / 2 parties

Payment only in cash. The visa fee is subject to change by the consulate without prior notice.

Documents required for issuing a tourist visa to Thailand (obtaining in Ukraine. During the period of quarantine restrictions, the Consulate of Thailand in Ukraine does not accept documents for visas!!!):

  • Passport (passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of departure from the country);
  • Personal data
  • 1 photo 3.5×4.5 cm.
  • Copy of the first spread of the passport.
  • Certificate from work / or certificate of sole trader, for those who work (IN ENGLISH WITH WET STAMP OR CERTIFIED TRANSLATION OFFICE) (Does not replace a certificate from a bank!)
  • Copies of booked round-trip tickets (if any).
  • For a single-entry visa : Bank statement on the state of the account (IN ENGLISH WITH WET PRINT) (from 650 USD / per person.);
  • For multivisa : Bank statement (IN ENGLISH) from 5700 USD / per 1 person + Account statement for half a year (at least 5700 USD / person monthly – in the form of a breakdown for six months with balances at the end of each month (in English) ) (in the document on the movement it must be clearly stated that the amount of 5700 USD (and more) is on the account at the end of each month. – see the sample statement below. For children, you must provide:

  • Passport (passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of departure from the country);
  • Personal data
  • 1 photo 3.5×4.5 cm.
  • a copy of the notarized parental permission to leave the child (if the child is going to Thailand with one of the parents),
  • a copy of the child’s birth certificate,
  • a copy of the marriage certificate of the parents,
  • certificate from the place of study of the child.

Important!

  • The consulate has the right to require the submission of additional documents.
  • Please specify the rules for applying for residents of other countries individually
  • The Kingdom of Thailand does not allow visa-free transit.

A visa to Thailand can be issued upon arrival at the airport if the duration of stay in the country does not exceed 29 nights / 30 days.

The list of documents for issuing a visa on arrival for citizens of Ukraine:
