It has a population of 2.1 million people, making it the 126th most populous country in the world. The majority of the population is Macedonian (64%), followed by Albanian (25%), and other ethnic groups such as Serbs, Turks, Bosniaks, Roma, and Aromanians accounting for the remaining 11%.
