According to EQUZHOU.NET, the Republic of Yemen is a parliamentary-controlled presidential regime. It consists of the President and the Parliament with a Prime Minister. Human rights activist

Tawakkul Karman (born 1979)

In 2011 she received the Nobel Peace Prize in 2011 together with the Liberians Leymah Gbowee and Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf – at the time of the award ceremony, the country’s president. She received the prize for her non-violent struggle for the safety of women and women for the right of women to participate fully in peace-making.

Around 13 endemic bird species live here, including the black-faced stone grouse (high plateau), Yemen gold sparrow, Yemeni tiger, Menachagirlitz, Rotschildgirlitz, Yemen Hanfling on Socotra: Socotranctra bird, Socotrastar, Socotraammer.
